Earth Is Beautiful.....Think About It.

Endangered Sea Life

According to a study, the tropical reefs of the world are at a risk of being destroyed till the end of the century because of the rising ratio of acid in oceans. This is due to increase in the man-made carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide in air dissolves in the sea water and forms carbonic acid. This disturbs the ability of coral organisms to make their calcium carbonate shells which form coral reefs.
People themselves are imposing threat to these fragile reefs. Tourists collect coral reefs as souvenirs by either directly breaking a piece or buying it in a tourist shop. Sewage, fertilizers and pesticides often run down into the sea. As coral reefs are close to the shore, they are exposed to these polluted materials.

Maldives Is Drowning

Maldives is one meter or less above the sea level, which makes it the lowest country of the world. Rising sea level and green house emission can displace the land. But Maldives isn't the first one to be displaced from its place. Many of the residents of Bangladesh's Bhola Island lost their homes due to rising sea level. In 2005, the 1600 residents of Papua New Guinea Carteret Island began to evacuate because of the same reason. Muhammad Nasheed, president of Maldives, is taking necessary steps to tackle this situation. he is looking for the land in India or Srilanka as the customs and traditions of the nations are quite similar. He is also considering Australia which have some spare land.

What We Do Effects Them

What We Do Effects Them

We share this homeland with many of the other living beings. But as our activities are most advanced n progressive, it is effecting the environment more seriously and rapidly. We share our surroundings with animals but it looks like we have thrown them out of their share of lands. Humans have marched into forests, deserts and seas, threatening the life of animals. Many of them have reached to the point of extinction.

We should stop this cruel behavior towards animals and give them enough space to live in their own natural habitant.
